There is no end to the ghostly events here and there was a twist I should have seen coming but I didn't :)

Master of Illusion (Master of Illusion #1)
by Anne Rouen This one was different than most I have read. Different in a good way that I enjoyed. It was fast paced, always kept you wanting more and delivering. I liked the many characters. I especially loved the "show" at the end. Excellent. I would recommend this to any Phan. The only problem I had with it, was my French is not what is used to be so I had to keep referring to my dictionary. A small dictionary in the back covering the words and phrases used within the text would have been ideal. Disclosure Master of Illusion (Master of Illusion #1)
by Anne Rouen On pg 359 Still very fast paced. I had found myself missing Angel for a bit Prelude by J.M. Smith
I loved the delicate simplicity of Erik and Annie's relationship. The love that comes slowly until you realize its there and then it takes you. The friendship love. Its also very nice to give Erik someone worthy of him. I am very much looking forward to the next installment. I am very much recommending this to any Phan. Disclosure The Ash Tree
M.R. James I caught a BBC version of this with Christopher Lee doing it, I suppose 'nuff said. I loved it. Even aside from the obvious it was a great little tale, it conjured up images that got into my dreams The Judges House
Bram Stoker Devil Rat, how can you not love that. I got the creepy's from it without a doubt For Love of the Phantom (Phantom Rising #1)
by Davyne DeSye If you wondered what life could have been like after Christine left, this one tells it well. If you, like myself, are a Victorian Londoner at heart who loves a beautiful garden and Erik then this is a must have for your collection. I don't want to give it away but there is a twist straight out of the time frame that just blew me away and I loved it. This is a must have for any Phans collection. This is a beautiful and delicate story. Read it as soon as you can. This cover is also simply glorious to my eye. Disclosure For Love of the Phantom (Phantom Rising #1)
Davyne DeSye On pg 295 of 366 That took a turn I never expected, I loved it. For those loving Victorian London and a beautiful garden and Erik, must read this novel. A Shimmer of Hummingbirds: A Birder Murder Mystery by Steve Burrows
On pg 17 of 376 I won this one, so I have only this one in the series so far. Starting off with low key action is always a good way to get my attention. Building up with suspense, I like that Humanitarians, Visionaries, Heroes, and You by Mary Feliciani
This one is really a little treasure. It gives one the best "learning blocks" for getting the idea of peace and humanitarianism in the world today. I also love the details the author gives about each of her choices and the words they themselves spoke. The world today definitely needs more books like this. Disclosure |
